HMS 1 & 2 (E3) – Heavy Melting Steel Scrap
HMS (Heavy Melting Steel) is one of the most widely traded ferrous scrap grades used in steel recycling. HMS 1 consists of heavy steel scrap with a minimum thickness of 1/4 inch (6 mm), while HMS 2 includes lighter gauge steel with a minimum thickness of 1/8 inch (3 mm). Commonly supplied in an 80:20 blend, HMS scrap is a preferred raw material for electric arc furnace (EAF) steel producers, supporting efficient and sustainable steel manufacturing worldwide.

Shredded Steel Scrap – (E40)
Shredded scrap is manufactured by processing obsolete steel, end-of-life vehicles, and industrial metal waste using high-capacity hammer mills. Its uniform size, high density, and low impurity content ensure efficient furnace charging, reliable melting performance, and consistent steel production for mills around the world.
Typical Sources: End-of-life vehicles (ELVs), obsolete steel scrap, household appliances (white goods), industrial machinery, demolition steel, steel fabrication scrap, automotive manufacturing scrap, construction steel, steel containers, agricultural equipment, and mixed ferrous scrap.

Bushellings Steel Scrap – (E8)
Busheling is a premium new production steel scrap generated during metal stamping and fabrication operations. Its clean condition, uniform quality, and well-defined chemical composition make it an ideal raw material for electric arc furnace (EAF) steelmaking, where consistent performance and low residuals are essential.

Cast Iron Steel Scrap
Cast iron scrap is sourced from recovered automotive, industrial, and infrastructure castings, including engine blocks, brake rotors, machinery housings, and cast iron pipes. Valued for its high carbon content and consistent chemistry, it is widely used by foundries in the production of high-quality cast iron components.

Plate & Structural Steel Scrap
Structural steel scrap comprises heavy-gauge steel sections recovered from construction, industrial, and manufacturing applications. Including beams, plates, channels, angles, and structural profiles, it delivers excellent metallic value, consistent quality, and efficient furnace performance for modern steelmaking operations.

Used Rail Scrap – R50/R65 Grade
Rail scrap comprises premium-quality steel recovered from railway infrastructure, including used rail sections and track materials. Available in standard profiles such as R50 and R65, it offers excellent strength, consistent chemistry, and high metallic yield, making it a preferred feedstock for rerolling, forging, and steel manufacturing applications.
